About the Opportunity

The Operations Manager will:

• Optimise project efficiency, manage resources effectively, and ensure profitability
• Foster relationships with the design team, clients, and other outsourced teams
• Develop and implement strategic planning for business growth

Key responsibilities will include:

- Project management (developing and managing budgets, monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, identify and address project related issues)
- Oversee invoicing and collection of payments from clients
- Work closely with the team to allocate resources efficiently
- Team management (end-to-end recruitment, resource allocations to projects, manage workflow, PD and training)
- Manage and nurture client relationships as the primary point of contact
- Financial Management (developing and monitoring budgets, implementing cost-control measures and analyse financial data, identify opportunities for improvement)
- Develop strategic plans and objectives for business growth including market research
- Prepare financial reports and analyse financial data
- Establish performance metrics and benchmarks to assess effectiveness of business operations
- Review Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and conduct performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and recognise achievements

You'll bring:


  • Bachelor of Business Management or relevant proven experience

  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and project costing

  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills

  • Experience in Design or Creative Services environment

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software applications for resource planning, time tracking, project management and invoicing

  • Creative problem solving and a proactive approach to addressing challenging situations
