About You

As a proven project leader, you'll work closely with the CEO, Business Manager, and design team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.


You'll define scope of works and determine an outline of project requirements, undertake on-site inspection of works, check work in progress to confirm consistency with contract documents and provide regular project financial reporting.


As well as site inspections, client meetings and presentations, you'll prepare feasibility and project timelines, chair project stakeholder meetings and prepare agendas.


You will also ensure compliance with the contract, check contract timeframes are adhered to, and ensure the timely issuance of key contract notices and documents.


Your Responsibilities


  • Contract Administration and Superintendent responsibilities.

  • Project management from initial design phase, town planning, design development, to completion of construction.

  • Client and stakeholder management.

  • Team development.

  • Team utilisation and management of project profitability.

  • Site inspections.

  • Site analysis.

  • Coordination of secondary consultants.

  • Develop processes to improve quality control.

 

Your Skills and Attributes


  • Bachelor of Construction Management or similar qualification.

  • Strong technical and documentation experience.

  • Min 5-years experience in a Project Manager or similar role.

  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.

  • An enthusiasm and commitment to do great work and encourage your team to do the same.

  • Excellent lateral thinking and problem solving skills.

  • Contribute to the improvement of work practices in the office.

  • A very good eye for detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple projects successfully.

  • Experience in cloud based project management software, Procore, Webcert or similar.
